The AIR 160 UV-C purifier recirculates room air through a beam of ultraviolet light, exposing viruses, bacteria and protozoa to wavelengths within a specific range (between 200 and 300 nanometres). This is the specific measure for the ultraviolet beam to be classified as germicidal, rendering pathogens unable to reproduce and infect. All this in a compact unit independent of other ventilation systems, ready for immediate use once placed on the floor of the room without building work or installation.
